LifeSafe enters into strategic partnership with Wormald Fire & Safety for industrial fluids

LifeSafe, a fire safety technology business with innovative fire extinguishing fluids and fire safety products, announces that it has entered into an exclusive strategic partnership with Wormald Fire & Safety to distribute LifeSafe’s new fluorine free, lithium-ion fire extinguishing fluid Thermal Runaway Fluid.

The agreement with Wormald is LifeSafe’s first industrial partnership and represents a major growth area for the Group. Under the agreement, Wormald will be distributing LifeSafe’s TRF exclusively throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The Lifesafe Lithium Thermal Runaway Fluid (TRF) has a very different approach to how it tackles a lithium-ion battery fire compared to other fire extinguishers. LifeSafe's TRF is designed to permanently extinguish and prevent the re-ignition of lithium fires and has been engineered to remove the heat from the lithium fire, therefore making the battery safer post trauma. Lithium-ion batteries are used across a wide variety of everyday products.
